Most cars we are offered never make it onto the site
The ones that do have been through three stages, run by our own mechanics, in our own shop. Nothing is signed off by the person who bought the car.
Step 1 — Inspected
Six mechanics, one list, no exceptions
Every car is stripped back and checked against the same 172-point list, in the same order, whoever it belonged to.

- 3road tests: cold start, highway, and a braking loop
- 0points signed off by whoever bought the car
Step 2 — Serviced
We fix it before we price it
Anything the inspection flags is repaired with parts we would fit to our own cars. The work is finished before the car is valued, so the price you see is not a price with a caveat attached.

Step 3 — Listed

Only after passing every stage does a car earn the badge and go on the site. If it fails, it goes to auction. It does not get listed with a note.
